Who we are
Les Entrechats Bottés is the company attached to the École de danse. Directed by Nadejda L. Loujine, it offers dancers trained at the school a path to professionalization and brings to the stage a contemporary vision of character dance.
Our art
Character dance is not exclusively a matter of folklore, but rather a way of transforming it into theatrical works.
From Russia to Central Asia and along the Gypsy trail, our creations explore constantly reinvented worlds. Based on living traditions, Les Entrechats Bottés ' dances are inspired by Slavic tales, epic steppe themes and long, poetic, moving journeys.
